The MDC TF1 thermoformer is engineered to produce the highest quality medical device trays from formable films with thicknesses up to 100 mils. The MDC TF1 boasts changeovers in 10 minutes or less. Our unique infrared heating and male plug forming dies can produce intricate trays with consistent thicknesses and flat seal areas. Pierce film chain transport system holds rigid films snug with no clip openers, replacements springs or adjustments required. Makes scrap removal at discharge a breeze. Additional features include a toggle form press, high pressure trim press, automated part stacking and scrap removal. Safety and ergonomics are important to us so we’ve eliminated any exposed sharp edges and guarded all pinch points. In addition, tool and film changes are a breeze. With the MDC TF1, Medical Device Manufacturers can form trays in house for 1/3rd the cost of purchasing preformed trays.
